About marketing the UK

Working together to market the UK Life Science business

The UK Life Science toolkit has been created as part of an international marketing strategy developed jointly by UK Trade & Investment and UK Life Science business and other Government departments and agencies.  Together we have worked to:

  • establish a UK Life Science Marketing Board of members across the industry
  • understand the needs of global investors and buyers and match these with UK expertise
  • design compelling messages to be used a different stages of your marketing activities
  • develop four country-focused communication plans to implement shared messages and activities.

As the UK Government's international business development organisation, UK Trade & Investment has been the catalyst for the UK Life Science marketing strategy. The UK's ‘Your Springboard for Global Growth' business proposition, also created by UKTI, in July 2006, has inspired and frames Life Science and other key UK sector marketing.
